I put it off again this week too.
auuugh writing poetry is so haaaard. I give up on this poem. I give up on it. I have no idea by this point what's supposed to be poetry and what isn't. THEY WILL HAVE TO DEAL.
Now I'm taking a break by watching Gundam~!
These subs still don't have an OP or ED. I'll hunt down the new ED afterward, I guess. I heard it's really pretty.
Last week everyone was complaining about how Setsuna and everyone else could hear Marina's song, and it irked me too. I'm writing it off as a MIRACLE! though. Seriously, if you pick apart that, you can pick apart everything. Like. Everything. I'm not doing it, hahaha.
But hey, Setsuna had already stabbed Ali by that point! I did not know that.
Oh my God, is Setsuna going to cry? HE...HE LOOKS SO MOE.
I was going to go "OOOH SHONEN AI" before I remembered that Hilling Care is a girl (OR IS SHE, I CAN'T KEEP IT STRAIGHT BY THIS POINT), so instead I'm going to go, "OHHH HILLING CARE ILU."
REVIVE REVIVAL! Yay. And Regene! Sitting on the couch. How daring. Also, Wang Liu Mei's reaction is interesting just because she seems to be a bit more chastised now after being abused by Ribbons. She seems like she doesn't care about the Innovators at all by this point and doesn't even want to humor them.
Of course, Regene going, "Oh hey, Tieria's not going to listen to us! Isn't that amazing?" is just reeking of future betrayal. Like he's the Ribbons to Ribbons's Alejandro this season, HAHAHA. It also sounds like he's manipulating Tieria too.

...Kati doesn't know Billy? She doesn't even remember him from the flashback a couple episodes again? Man. That's weird. You'd think since she was such good friends with Sumeragi and Billy was such a good stalker that they would have been introduced at some point.
Setsuna's nightmare is amazing so far.
It also brings up the good point of, "What if Setsuna hadn't murdered his parents and done with Ali wanted him too?" What would have changed with the rest of the timeline if they didn't have Setsuna to use?
Also, the way that Setsuna's like, "There isn't such thing as a god! There is no god!" is making me really sad. I keep waiting for him to go, "There's just Gundam," but he's not even going to say that since the Ribbons reveal, huh? Setsuna...
Setsuna, you can't touch yourself. You'd create a hole in time and space. :|
"Hey, don't let this kid out of the house! Meanwhile I'm going to go and shoot the person responsible for this! And everything will be fine!" Uh huh. Okay. The problem with representing dreams in media like this is that when you make it look super realistic, it's harder to remember that the person IS in a dream. So now I'm like, "Setsuna, can't you be logical about this?" But he CAN'T be. He's in a dream state.
So now we have LOCKON STRATOS YAAAAAY
with bonus eyepatch except that was Tieria's fault, not Setsuna's, so I'm not really sure why Setsuna would have that represent Lockon but I guess he just feels guilty about it/that's the last way he remembers Lockon
AND MYSTERIOUSLY, Lockon is NOT representing Neil's viewpoint, but Lyle's. He's saying how you should forget the past and focus on the present. And that's 100% what Lyle said a few episodes back.
WHY WOULD YOU HAVE A BUNCH OF KIDS SINGING LOUDLY NEXT TO AN UNCONSCIOUS PERSON HEALING FROM BLOOD LOSS
HOW DOES THAT MAKE SENSE
...He called her "Marina" instead of "Marina Ishmail." Um. UM? OUR LITTLE SETSUNA IS ALL GROWN UP??
Oh wow, is Setsuna looking skinny in this scene. Please tell me that's quality animation.
So Marina always wanted to do something with music instead of being a princess, huh? Well, how lucky that her kingdom burnt down! Now she can do that! 8D

ANYWAY for me that last minute made the entire episode. :|b The other main thing of interest (for me) was how Neil's attitude in Setsuna's dream had changed. Now, you could argue that this is a result of Setsuna's interaction with Lyle affecting his overall perception of Lockon, or you could say that this was really a ghost of Neil, appearing in Setsuna's dream to guide him. If you go with the second portrayal, that means that Neil has come to terms with everything and has realized that his younger brother's way of looking at things is actually better and healthier than his own.
It also makes Lyle seem a bit better than Neil, but I can't say that too loudly, HAHAHA.
Okay, the ending.
Seeing the Gundams all rusty and out in the open is symbolic and quite obvious, so I won't talk about that.
Meanwhile, OH MY GOD HAPPY ENDS TO LAST ENDING'S STORYLINES.
1) Saji convinces Louise that everything's okay and gets her to go with him.
2) TIERIA TURNS AROUND FROM THE SHOT MIRROR AND POINTS HIS GUN AT THE INNOVATORS (I'm pleased but seriously that last ending caused me so much mental trauma, no one will ever know)
3) Allelujah and Marie will...still be happy idk
4) Lyle is making out with a naked person...who looks to be Anew
Meanwhile clothes are symbolizing people, which seems to be more stylistic than symbolic. ETA: I didn't notice Tieria's shirt the first time because I failed to notice the glasses and therefore figured it was Setsuna's shirt or something but uwaaaaaah Tieria please don't be alone ;; ;; ;;
(some anon on the 00 community suggested that her good end for Tieria was him going to Heaven with Neil, and I thought, "NOOOOOoooooooo wait no, Tieria would probably think that would be a good end too." TIERIA DDDDD:)
Child!Setsuna is standing in front of a rotted, disabled Gundam. ;;
AND SMILING CUTELY IN FRONT OF FLOWERS ;; ;; ;; that looks really unnatural somehow
Aaaand that's symbolic of no longer needing the Gundams, because everyone will have peace!!
